Financial Tools for Small Businesses

Running a business is tough work. Owners can have lengthy to-do lists that seem never ending. Fortunately, there are some online solutions designed to help business owners streamline operations and save time on their to-do list. Learn more about two options below.

Divvy Business Credit Card

Divvy is a business credit card that processes payment through bill.com. This card allows business’ to pay vendors and keep a track record of the company’s spending through bill.com.

Users of the card can simply take a picture of a receipt and upload it to bill.com for proof of purchase, and there is a convenient reimbursement option if you must pay for an expense out of pocket.

To make things even easier, there is an app associated with the card where you can view charges in real time. You can also manage spending by applying limits to the card. Companies can apply for a cash limit of up to $5 million. This card also provides reward opportunities for using it.

Since the card is linked to bill.com, it syncs in with QuickBooks online as well. Businesses can have multiple virtual cards for vendors to use as payment information.

There are no annual fees or extra costs associated with the divvy card. Having the divvy card is a smart way for business’ to stay on top of financials and track expenses.

Bill.com

Bill.com is a software that allows business owners to keep track of accounts payable and accounts receivable in one place. Businesses can keep everything from receipts and important documentation for vendors in the online platform.

The software comes with a forecast option to view reports on spending trends throughout the month. Vendors can send invoices via email directly to bill.com for ease of entry and payment. And, once invoices are paid, businesses can connect the software to their QBO accounts and automatically sync the transactions into QBO. Bill.com even has a reoccurring feature that can be used by businesses that pay the same vendors each month.

Bill.com is a resource for business owners to streamline processes and save hours of time spent manually paying bills and creating invoices.
