Accounting Specialist

We are growing again! Come by part of our expert team of accountants that enjoy a flexible work environment with other great benefits!

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. This position can work out of our Richmond or Lexington office.

The ideal candidates will have experience working with multi companies, preferably in a CPA firm. Qualified candidates must have a solid understanding of accounting principles. Certifications in QBO and Bill.com are preferred but we can also provide training for those certifications. Must be able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven, and paperless environment. Must communicate timely and effectively with clients and internal team.

The essential duties of this position include bank reconciliations, financial statements, and complex bookkeeping including CFO type engagements. This position will require travel to client sites at times. Must be comfortable advising clients.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred but will consider combination of education and experience.

Director of First Impressions

We are seeking a full-time Director of First Impressions for our Lexington, KY office. As Director of First Impressions you will be the first impression to clients, vendors, and visitors. Duties will include answering phone calls, greeting clients, vendors, and visitors, assists other team members in the accomplishment of their responsibilities. This position is a key role in our tax preparation process. Duties include assembly of tax returns, scanning, and e-filing, as well as other administrative duties.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma and preferably 1+ years of administrative experience in a professional office setting; excellent customer service, strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; possess strong PC skills including intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to multitask; be dependable, punctual, have an upbeat personality and present themselves in a professional manner at all times. The right candidate will embrace a team culture and have a desire to serve others including clients, co-workers, and community.

This position may require overtime and some weekend and evening hours during peak tax deadline periods.
