Director of First Impressions

We are seeking a full-time Director of First Impressions for our Richmond, KY and Maysville, KY locations. As Director of First Impressions you will be the first impression to clients, vendors, and visitors. Duties will include answering phone calls, greeting clients, vendors, and visitors, assists other team members in the accomplishment of their responsibilities. This position is a key role in our tax preparation process. Duties include assembly of tax returns, scanning, and e-filing, as well as other administrative duties.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma and 1+ years of administrative experience in a professional office setting; excellent customer service, strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; possess strong PC skills including intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to multitask; be dependable, punctual, have an upbeat personality and present themselves in a professional manner at all times. The right candidate will embrace a team culture and have a desire to serve others including clients, co-workers, and community.

This position will require overtime and some weekend and evening hours during peak tax deadline periods.

Senior Executive Assistant

This position is located in Richmond Kentucky and will provide a high level of administrative support to the partners of the firm. This position assists management with administrative tasks such as tracking and compiling information of interest and prepares various reports detailing the administrative information handled by the position. The Senior Executive Assistant should possess excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. The Senior Executive Assistant must have the ability to handle highly sensitive material and information with discretion and confidentiality.

Essential Functions

· Manage and maintain executive schedules; including scheduling travel and conferences; making appointments and making changes to appointments.

· Opening, sorting, and distributing correspondence, including email, faxes, and post office mail.

· Reading and analyzing submissions, letters, agendas, memos and determining significance; routing to appropriate personnel in a timely and effective manner.

· Prepare reports; collect and analyze information; prepare presentations.

· Data analysis; proficient in Access, MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Perform filtering and sorting of data; V-lookup and other functions.

· Assist with budget preparation.

· Prepare executive responses to routine memos, letters, or correspondence.

· Provide clerical and general office support to other offices. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other staff members when appropriate.

· Interact with clients when appropriate and problem solve. Document complaints and develop an appropriate course of action. Report problems to executives when they cannot be resolved.

· Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

· Establishes individual goals which are aligned with the firm’s mission, strategies, and objectives.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required or we will consider an Associate's Degree with at least 2 years direct experience.

Other Requirements

This position will be required to work extra hours during peak tax season.

Accounting Specialist II

Baldwin CPAs is looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. This position can work in any of our offices located in Richmond, Louisville, Lexington, Flemingsburg and Maysville, Kentucky.

The ideal candidates will have experience working with multi companies, preferably in a CPA firm. Qualified candidates must have a solid understanding of accounting principles. Certifications in QBO and Bill.com are preferred. Must be able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven, and paperless environment.

The essential duties of this position include bank reconciliations, financial statements, tax returns and complex bookkeeping.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred but will consider combination of education and experience.
