Baldwin CPAs Member, G. Alan Long, Inducted into Eastern Kentucky University’s Hall of Distinguished Alumni

RICHMOND, KY – Baldwin CPAs is pleased to announce that member, G. Alan Long, has been inducted into the Hall of Distinguished Alumni at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU). Mr. Long, a 1979 graduate of EKU, has been an active alumnus including serving on the Board of Regents since 2014 where he is presently Vice-Chair. Additionally, Mr. Long was recognized for his contributions in 2005 when he was named a Distinguished Alumnus of the University’s College of Business & Technology.

 

“Without my education from EKU, I would not have been able to accomplish what I have in my career,” states G. Alan Long, CPA, CITP, CGMA. “I believe in giving back to the school that gave me so much. It has been an honor to support EKU throughout the years, including actively recruiting EKU accounting graduates to join our firm.”

 

Mr. Long’s exceptional career and reputation as a highly respected accounting leader began with the launch of his own firm in his spare bedroom in 1984. During his over 25-year tenure as Managing Member of Baldwin CPAs through January 1, 2023, Mr. Long has overseen the impressive growth of Baldwin to a firm that boasts five offices, 70 employees, and a $12 million budget.
