Time for 1099s

It will soon be time to file Form 1099s.  If you paid $600 or more for services to any individual during 2012, you will need to provide them with a Form 1099 by January 31, 2103.   Now is a good time to see if you have all of the necessary information to file these returns.  You need the individual's name, social security number, address, and the amount paid.  Use Form W-9 to obtain all of this information from the individual.  Contact our office if you need forms or any other assistance.
