Importance Of Effective Business Software

Importance Of Effective Business Software

Technology can help run a business more quickly and efficiently. With all of the new cloud-based software options, you can run your business from anywhere as long as you have Wi-Fi or a cellular device. Business software is constantly growing and advancing. Business software today is so advanced that it uses technology to remember what the user input in the past to help automatically categorize items.

Below is a list of the different types of software available to you:

QuickBooks Online – QuickBooks Online can work on any computer or electronic device. You can have multiple users in your company at one time and best of all – you don’t have to worry about those pesky backups and accountant copies or opening the wrong file date. Everything is saved automatically as you work on it on Intuit’s Cloud. QuickBooks is also able to download your bank transactions and help you automatically reconcile your accounts.

Bill.com – Like QuickBooks Online, you can access this from any computer or electronic device. No more handwriting checks or keeping paper copies of invoices: bill.com will do that for you! This application also syncs with QuickBooks Online so you don’t have to worry about data entry.

Expensify – This is another application that syncs with QuickBooks Online. All you have to do is open the application on your phone, take a picture of your receipt, and tell the app what it’s for: it will take care of the rest.

When COVID-19 hit in 2020, Baldwin had already begun transitioning all of our Elevate practice clients to QuickBooks Online and Bill.com. This change allowed us to keep working as normal, no matter where our staff was, and, better yet, our clients didn’t notice the office was closed! With the help of this new software, you too can work from anywhere.

Contact one of our staff members to help your business implement these technologies!
